Skechers GO Walk 2 Slip-On Trainers

So you've seen the ads and heard good things about Skechers GO Walk 2 trainers, but are they really any good. Well, for what they were made to be, yes they are. They are especially good when compared to many alternative summer trainers within the same price range. Skechers GO Walk 2 have many more features that make them more suited for summer than a lot of their competitors. That is, if you want something that's lightweight, comfortable and airy.

So how can we gauge how good these trainers really are? That's easy, just look at the customer reviews. Skechers GO Walk 2 have excellent customer reviews. Hundreds of reviews and still the rating is close to five stars. That many people can't be wrong. Scanning the reviews and one sentence that keeps popping up in different forms is "Most comfortable shoes I ever owned". Wearers are seriously impressed. Read the reviews. Another good thing about these trainers is although Skechers have spent quite a lot of money advertising these shoes, they still fall into the average price range for a pair of women's trainers. The pair pictured here are women's but Skechers Go Walk 2 are also available for men at around the same price. Yes, there not super cheap, but trainers with this much hype surrounding them usually tend to command a high price tag.

Thankfully, Skechers have always been priced right. So that's an added bonus, they are affordable. Colours available: Grey (superb), all Black (Great for work depending on profession), and numerous other summery colours like Turquoise, Pink and Raspberry. Great shoes. Just slip on and go!

Skechers were first and foremost a very popular brand in the USA, worn by hundreds of thousands of people. Now they are also very popular here in the UK, and it's easy to see why. Skechers make some great footwear and there are so many different Skechers styles available for men, women, and children.

Skechers Arcade Chat make a nice shoe for everyday wear. They are an excellent walking shoe, very comfortable, and due to the considerable amount of colours available there's a pair to fit most types of clothing styles and colours.

In terms of popularity, the grey, blue and black pairs are the most in demand. These pairs are a little harder to find online in all sizes, but the cream Skechers Arcade Chat are widely available on many online shopping outlets such as eBay, where the cream pairs are for sale in abundance. Not demanding a high price makes them a real bargain for the money.

Like the Black Original style Vans, the black Skechers Arcade Chat are quite well known for being used as footwear for working environments, such as the retail and food sectors. With them being black in colour and very comfortable, they are much preferred over normal shoes. The difference between the Vans and Skechers is that the Skechers are much more substantial, with a much thicker sole, thicker upper, and are generally (or usually) much more hard wearing overall.

So, if you want trainers for work and you are torn between buying Black Vans or Black Skechers, it depends on how much you favour longevity. The Vans won't last as long because they are made from Canvas, and have a thinner sole. As a result they will wear out faster when being worn all day everyday while at work.

Manufacturers Fault

One thing to be aware of with Skechers Arcade Chat is that they were made with a manufacturers fault. The fault is the sole. It has a piece missing. Whether you buy them online from eBay, Amazon, or buy them from an official High street shop that sells Skechers the fault is present on them all. So it's not a case of any seller selling fakes or seconds, they were actually made like this by Skechers in error.

Most people probably won't even notice this fault. It's not a major cosmetic annoyance because it isn't visible when wearing the trainers. However, after a few months of them being worn it can lead to premature wear, and the surrounding sole can come loose because of the fault, creating a weak spot, resulting in the under sole around the affected area flapping around as you walk.
